I tried so far: Lowest settings, changing the use of RAM, set max timer resolution to 0.5 and HPET fix, vsync off (from driver and app, ON just gets worst), set GTAV.exe process to high priority, unpark cores and use QuickCPU, set GPU iterrupt priority to high with MSIModeTool, cap fps via RTSS (got worse), change energy plans to Max performance (Driver and system), set windows graphical performance settings to high for GTA V app, added a couple of commandline parameters. I think the only thing I haven't done is to mess with the settings.xml file I might not be quick in responding but I surely will.ĭude, i was about to write this, i have the same issue, only difference i have a i7-8550U.

The third workaround is for windows 10, my laptop gets BSOD if I install windows 10 since I have a faulty (dead) graphic card, so I'm limited to windows 8.
